Mangroves are carbon dioxide traps, complex habitats, and essential for the livelihood of local communities. Part of the proceeds of this new colorway will be donated to Maksudur Rahman, a conservation leader partnering with local communities to protect and restore the Sundarbans mangrove forests of Bangladesh. In partnership with Milkywire, a Swedish platform promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals by supporting locally-rooted nonprofits, Airinum donates part of the revenue from its collaborations and new color drops via The Airinum Fund.
Meet Maksudur
The man saving the mangroves—Maksudur Rahman is a conservation leader partnering with local communities to protect and restore the Sundarbans mangrove forests of Bangladesh. Together with his organization BEDS, Maksudur has planted more than 300,000 trees in the region and improved the living conditions for thousands of local families.
